Terms of use

Last updated 3 November 2026

These terms cover the Capruo Chrome extension, the web dashboard and the waitlist. By using any of them you agree to these terms, so please read them.

1. Who we are

Capruo is run from Poland by Capruo (“we”). You can reach us at contact@capruo.com.

2. Early access

Capruo is in early access. It's free for now, and features may change, move or be removed as we build it. We may limit how many people can use it, and things can break. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.

3. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist doesn't create an account or any obligation. We'll email you when your spot opens. Waitlist members get 50% off your first month of a paid plan once paid plans start, on the terms we publish with those plans. How we handle your email is described in the privacy policy.

4. Your account

You must be at least 16 to use Capruo. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

5. Your library and what you capture

What you save stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can run Capruo for you, for example to show it in your dashboard, search it and export it. We don't use it for anything else.

The sites you capture belong to other people. Capruo is for collecting references and inspiration. Designs, code, images, text and trademarks you save may be protected by copyright or other rights, and you're responsible for how you use them, including any code you copy into your own work.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Capruo to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • capture content you have no right to access, or collect other people's personal data;
  • overload, attack or probe the service, or try to reach another user's data;
  • copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you first and explain why.

7. Paid plans

There are no paid plans yet. Before we charge for anything, we'll publish the prices and terms, and you'll choose whether to subscribe. Nothing is charged without your explicit agreement.

8. Availability and warranty

We work to keep Capruo running and your data safe, but during early access we provide it “as is”, without promises about uptime or fitness for a particular purpose. If you use Capruo as a consumer, this doesn't limit the rights the law gives you.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for lost profits or data, and our total liability is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or any liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Ending

You can stop using Capruo at any time and ask us to delete your account and library. We may end early access or close the service; if we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice so you can save what you need.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Capruo changes. We'll update the date at the top and tell you about significant changes before they apply. If you don't agree, you can stop using Capruo.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring a claim there. Otherwise, disputes go to the courts with jurisdiction over our registered address. Please write to us first; most things are easier to fix by email.
